The International Arbitration League

The International Arbitration League The International Arbitration League aims to encourage the solution of disputes at all levels through the non violent means of arbitration.

The International Arbitration League was founded by Sir William Randal Cremer (1828-1908), winner of the Nobel Peace Prize 1903. Its origins go back into the third quarter of the 19th century. Cremer spent his whole life trying to convince the world that there was a real alternative to war and violence - arbitration. He practiced it as a member of the British Parliament, internationally and amongs

t labour. He founded the Inter-Parliamentary Union still operating until this day as well as the International Arbitration League which was incorporated into The Mondcivitan Republic (Mondcivitania). Today, the Hugh & Helene Schonfield World Service Trust has responsibility for furthering the aims of this movement. More information is available at www.schonfield.org.

It escalates to new enemies and new battles. If there is no obvious foe to blame for the worsening situation, it looks harder to find one, or creates one instead.
