The doxology during Mass is a prayer of praise and glory to God. It lifts our hearts toward the Father, through the Son, in the unity of the Holy Spirit. The words remind us that everything we offer, celebrate, and receive ultimately comes from God and returns to Him. May God be praised in our lives both now and forever.

Every priest looks back on his seminary days with nostalgia. Without the seminary, we would not be priests. The seminary — the seedbed — nurtured us to become unworthy ministers of His Word and Sacraments. So, after many years, I returned to the seminary. Though it has moved to a new site, I still carry vivid memories of my days in this great institution. To all who nurtured us into the priesthood, may heaven be your reward. And may God bless all seminarians and guide them to the fulfillment of their dreams.
