Recognition well earned. 🏅

Today, Multi-Domain Command – Europe recognized Soldiers whose hard work, innovation, and commitment helped drive the success of Exercise Arcane Thunder 26 across Europe and the United States. Brig. Gen. Steven Carpenter and Command Sgt. Maj. Caleb Webster presented Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medals, and unit coins to Soldiers whose contributions strengthened multi-domain operations alongside our NATO Allies and partners.

Arcane Thunder 26 continues to sharpen the Army’s ability to operate across every domain while reinforcing deterrence across the European theater.

Brig. Gen. Steven Carpenter, commanding general of Multi-Domain Command – Europe, honored America’s fallen during a Memorial Day ceremony at Lorraine American Cemetery in St. Avold, France.

Established near the front lines in 1945 after the liberation of the surrounding area by the U.S. 80th Infantry Division, Lorraine American Cemetery is the largest American World War II cemetery in Europe. More than 10,000 U.S. service members are laid to rest there, many of whom gave their lives during the Allied push toward Germany’s western border.

Their sacrifice helped secure the freedoms we continue to defend today. We remember their courage, service, and legacy. 🕯️🇺🇸
