Today, we had the privilege of honoring our Active Duty Service Members, Veterans, and First Responders at the Military Appreciation Meal at Rheinblick Golf Course! A huge thank you to the Gary Sinise Foundation for providing a great lunch.

Shout out to SPC Hachett for winning a three day two night stay at Edelweiss Lodge and Resort!

It was a day filled with gratitude, good food, and great company as we came together to celebrate the heroes among us.

Family Advocacy Program's Co-Parenting Essentials class is designed to help separated or divorced parents work together to create a stable, supportive environment for their children. In this class, you'll learn effective communication strategies, conflict resolution skills, and techniques for managing emotions. It is One (1) class offered on two (2) separate dates, Wednesday 9 October or Wednesday 23 October 2024 from 1800-1900. The class will be held at ACS Bldg. 07790

Another successful AFAP Conference in the books! It was incredible to connect with so many passionate individuals and tackle important issues, both at the local level and on a broader scale. From impactful discussions on community needs to addressing bigger challenges, the energy and drive to create lasting change were truly inspiring. Today, we honor and remember the lives lost, the heroes who emerged, and the resilience of a nation united in the face of tragedy. 23 years later, we continue to reflect on the events of 9/11 and the lessons they taught us about courage, sacrifice, and unity. Let’s never forget those who were taken too soon and those who risked everything to save others.

The Army Family Action Plan Conference kicked off this morning with delegates from around Garrison Wiesbaden coming together to address issues of the community. Over a three-day period, the delegates—a selection of Soldiers, civilians and family members—will be split into two groups to work through over 70 submissions.

Since its inception, the AFAP Conference has led to over 500 major changes in legislation, travel requirements, regulations and other policies that heavily impact the quality of life for military communities.

The conference continues over the next two days and concludes Thursday, Sept. 12 with an out brief from the commander. Community members interested in the issues being presented are invited to attend the out brief at 3 p.m.

USAG Wiesbaden ACS still has 11 spots available for the upcoming Rudesheim Ring Tour on Friday, Sept. 20 from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Meet at the Taunus Theater on Hainerberg to start your journey. Please bring 20 euro for adults and 12.50 euro for children ages 5–17. This fee covers the boat tour as well as a ride on the Rudeshiem Cable Car!
