📸 Behind the scenes: How the idea of Konnectet was born 💡
Konnectet didn’t start as a big, ambitious project. It actually began with something much smaller and very personal.
At first, the idea was to build a gaming community. A space where people who might be more introverted could meet others, make friends, and feel included. But the more we explored the idea, the more we realised something bigger:
It wasn’t just gamers who struggled to connect.
It was everyone, especially young people, expats, and anyone trying to build a new social circle.
That’s when the project shifted into something more exciting!
Martin pushed us to think beyond a single group and imagine something that could include everyone without exceptions. No closed circles. No labels. Just a space where meeting new people actually feels easy and natural.
As we looked closer at what was happening around us, one thing became clear:
Social media today creates more distance than connection.
Endless scrolling. Ads. Noise. Algorithms.
Lots of content, but very few real conversations.
We wanted to change that.
Since day one, we’ve been guided by a simple belief:
Technology should bring people closer, not push them apart.
Konnectet is our way of building that future.
A place for real people, real experiences, and real connections.
