The university election takes place this week! 🗳

You can vote for three bodies at the university 💡

The board of studies is the body which has influence on your study. They handle dispensations, your curriculum, courses, etc. Students fill up 50% of the board and therefore has great influence on the decisions made for your specific study!

The academic council is the body which decide on matters related to your faculty. They handle economics, biking spaces, study rooms, etc. In this body, the elected students guide the dean and speak on behalf of the students' needs, wishes and request of their faculty.

The university board decides on greater structural changes affecting the whole of the university. The board for example handle the university's economics, strategy and hire/dismiss the principal. Students have two seats at the board.

Your local students' council is present at the university today and tomorrow, so we highly encourage you to go and talk to them. They offer information about the election, their candidates and key issues, often accompanied with coffee, baked goods and candy ☕🧁🍬😋

The International Committee held an information meeting last Wednesday and it was pure ‘hygge’ 💙🐬We got to talk a bit about what the IC is and can do as well as the biking culture in Aarhus 🚴🏻, which banks to use 💰, how to do taxes etc. There was also board games ♟ and pizza 🍕 present. Thank you to all who showed up! We hope you had a great night too!
