VACANCY – PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE AMBASSADOR
The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Copenhagen invites applications for one (1) full-time position of Personal Assistant to the Ambassador, under the terms and conditions applicable to locally engaged staff. Employment will be in accordance with the Guidelines on Employment and Terms of Service of Locally Engaged Staff of the Diplomatic Missions of the Republic of Cyprus Abroad.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Ambassador and the Embassy in general.
• Manage correspondence in Greek and/or English
• Handle protocol matters concerning the Head of Mission and the diplomatic staff
• Assist with the coordination of the Mission’s departments
• Perform reception and front-desk duties
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Strong secretarial and administrative skills, including knowledge of office organization and filing procedures (relevant professional experience will be considered an advantage)
• Very good computer literacy, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and typing skills
• Very good command of English; knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• High level of professional judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
• Secondary school diploma
• Valid residence and work permit in Denmark
Salary and Conditions
This is a full-time position with a monthly salary of DKK 30,000. A 13th salary payment will be provided.
Statutory taxes and social security contributions are the responsibility of the employee.
Successful candidates will be required to provide a clean criminal record certificate and will be subject to a security clearance by the Danish authorities.
