The Foundational Ethics
The three ethics are the moral compass, in this order:

Earth Care: Regenerate living systems. Healthy soil, clean water, and biodiversity are the foundation of all life.

People Care: Care for yourself, your family, and your community. Meet human needs for food, shelter, education, and community in a sustainable way.

Fair Share (or Future Care): Set limits to consumption and redistribute surplus. This ethic ensures systems are just and resilient for future generations.

Permaculture Ducks
Ducks, particularly Indian Runner and Khaki Campbell breeds, are highly effective in permaculture systems for natural pest control, w**d management, and soil fertility improvement. They are known for their foraging abilities, consuming slugs, snails, and various insects, which helps avoid the use for synthetic pesticides.
Additionally, their manure contributes to soil enrichment, making them valuable for sustainable agriculture.

Indian Runner Ducks: These ducks are renowned for their strong foraging instincts, making them highly efficient at controlling pests in the fields. They are natural hunters, continuously on the move and actively seeking out slugs, snails, and other garden invaders.
Khaki Campbell Ducks: Known for their foraging behavior and prolific egg-laying abilities, these ducks are also highly effective at pest management. They are hardy and can thrive in diverse environments, making them an excellent choice for permaculture gardens.

At Højskole Mors, we live by nature’s wisdom:

Work with nature, not against it (copy forests, build soil, save water).

Grow food like ecosystems (mix plants, zero waste, share fairly).

Care for Earth = care for ourselves —poisoning rivers, oceans, lakes or fiords poisons us too.
