The Rio Bravo Biological Station's goals are to facilitate biological research, volunteer and education projects and visitors who may have a keen interest in activities such as exploring the forest wildlife and birdwatching. It is dedicated to the conservation of endangered species and habitats in and between the Upper Choco Valley and Northwestern Andean Cloud Forest of Ecuador 10km from Mindo. T

he biological station provides low-cost support for scientists, volunteers and students researching the Choco and Andean Forest plant and animal communities.
