Study tour to Romania, May 13-20, 2023
Project-based learning has always been one of the key components of our school curriculum. It helps students apply their knowledge in practice, develop creative thinking, and learn to work in teams. Participation in international projects like "We do STEAM together" provides students with the opportunity to go beyond the confines of the curriculum and gain a global perspective on education.
Together with our group of students, we embarked on a journey to Romania to explore new ideas, innovative teaching methods, culture, and history of the country. It was a true educational experiment in which we actively participated.
During our trip, we visited schools, various cities, and nature reserves, as well as scientific and production centers, where students had the chance to participate in interactive workshops and experiments. Witnessing the application of scientific knowledge in practice, our students gained an important stimulus for further learning and development in the scientific field.
However, what impressed us the most was seeing our students grow and develop throughout the trip. We witnessed their self-confidence, their ability to make decisions, and work as a team. The entire process of project-based work during the trip helped them become more independent and creative learners.
In addition to the educational aspect, the trip to Romania also provided us with an opportunity to learn about a different culture and traditions. Interacting with Romanian students, exchanging experiences with their teachers, and participating in international events enhanced intercultural understanding and tolerance among the participants.
We are proud of each participant of our trip and sincerely thank them for their enthusiasm, hard work and desire to learn and grow. I would also like to express my gratitude to our partners in Romania for the warm welcome and excellent organization.
The "We do STEAM together" project and our educational trip to Romania have not only been a significant step in the development of our students but also reaffirmed the importance of project-based learning in our school. We see how it influences students' motivation and achievements, as well as the development of their personalities.
We are ready to continue participating in international projects like "We do STEAM together" and share our experience with other teachers. Because together, we can change the world of education and prepare a new generation of creators and researchers.
