القمة العالمية الرابعة للكتاب
٦ – ٧ نوفمبر ۲۰١٥
تستضيف مكتبة الإسكندرية "القمة العالمية الرابعة للكتاب" تعبيراً عن دورها الثقافي الملموس محلياً وعربياً ودولياً، وذلك تحت عنوان "الكتاب والقراءة والتكنولوجيا"، في الفترة ٦–٧ نوفمبر ۲۰١٥م بمدينة الإسكندرية. "القمة العالمية للكتاب" هو اجتماع سنوي عالمي أطلقته مكتبة الكونجرس في عام ۲۰١۲م لمناقشة الكتاب وكل ما يتعلق به من موضوعات. كل عام تُعقد القمة الع
المية للكتاب في إحدى المدن التي لها بصمة ثقافية عالميًا؛ في واشنطن وسنغافورة وباريس خلال الأعوام ۲۰١۲م، ۲۰١٣م، ۲۰١٤م على التوالي. يُعقد هذا الحدث الثقافي الهام لأول مرة في أفريقيا والعالم العربي.
تتناول القمة هذا العام قضايا رئيسية متعلقة بالكتاب والقراءة، وكيف تطورا بشكل سريع في هذا العصر الذي يتسم بالتكنولوجيا الرقمية الحديثة.

The 4th International Summit of the Book
6-7 November, 2015
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is hosting the 4th International Summit of the Book in view of its leading cultural role nationally, regionally, and globally. The theme of the Summit is "Book, Reading & Technology", and it will be held 6–7 November, 2015 in Alexandria. The International Summit of the Book is an annual global meeting that was launched by the Library of Congress in 2012 to discuss the book in all its dimensions. Every year the International Summit of the Book is held in one of the cities that has a global cultural impact; namely Washington, Singapore, Paris in the years 2012, 2013, and 2014 respectively. This year, the Summit will tackle key issues related to the book and reading and how they have developed rapidly in this age of cutting-edge technology and digitization.
