Within the framework of the pivotal role undertaken by the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) in supporting capacity building efforts across African countries, H.E. Ambassador Nermine El-Zawahry, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Secretary General of the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development, participated in the closing ceremony of a specialized training course on the “Internet of Things (IoT),” organized in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI).
The Training witnessed the distinguished participation of 15 trainees representing 13 brotherly African countries, underscoring the depth of Egyptian African relations and Egypt’s commitment to transferring its technical and technological expertise to young African cadres.
In her remarks during the closing ceremony, H.E. the Ambassador reaffirmed the EAPD's commitment to continuing its efforts in supporting sustainable development across African nations through the organization of training programs and capacity-building initiatives in advanced technological fields, foremost among them the Internet of Things, as a key pillar of digital transformation and a driver of innovation.
Her Excellency also commended the constructive cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization and its role in advancing high tech industries, expressing her aspiration for further fruitful partnerships that contribute to achieving shared development goals.
At the conclusion of the event, certificates of completion were awarded to the participants, amid broad commendation of the program’s quality and academic content, reflecting Egypt's commitment to fostering effective models of cooperation and partnerships that advance development across various sectors for the peoples of the African continent.
