STEM Egypt
We believe that STEM High Schools were designed to create “centers of excellence” that embody trans-disciplinary collaboration, real-world applications, critical thinking, and a pioneering spirit. Ultimately, STEM schools support a new vision of Egypt as a country equipped with both the human capital and the institutional resources to compete and excel in the international marketplace.
The mission of STEM High Schools is to provide students with a challenging learning environment focused on math, science, engineering, and technology, inspire joy at the prospect of discovery, and foster a culture of innovation based on ethical behavior and shared interests of humanity. Over and Above, our mission is to foster the development of socially responsible leaders equipped with capabilities of design, innovation and critical thinking, and the knowledge and skills to address the Grand Challenges of Egypt. This will help the students be linked with the latest innovations and research issues in a lifelong culture and work as a team with students and teachers. The schools’ overarching goal is to create a network of self-sufficient schools with a newly established curriculum, trained teachers, industry partnerships, and operational system under the MOE’s public schooling system to educate high-performing students from across Egypt, regardless of socioeconomic status.
