توسيع نطاق الحلول المائية القائمة على الطبيعة والقادرة على الصمود (RNBWS) في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا

يسر مركز البيئة والتنمية للإقليم العربي و أوروبا (سيداري) بالتعاون مع المعهد الدولي لإدارة المياه أن يدعوكم للمشاركة في سلسلة الندوات الإلكتورنية حول توسيع نطاق الحلول المائية القائمة على الطبيعة والقادرة على الصمود (RNBWS) في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.

تُعقد الندوات عبر منصة Zoom اليوم 4 يونيو، والاثنين القادم 8 يونيو 2026.

تتناول سبل توسيع نطاق الحلول المائية المرنة في مواجهة تغير المناخ، من خلال السياسات الداعمة، والأطر المؤسسية، وتطوير المشروعات، وآليات التمويل المبتكرة.

تجمع هذه السلسلة نخبة من الخبراء وصناع القرار والممارسين لمناقشة الفرص والتحديات المرتبطة بتوسيع نطاق الحلول القائمة على الطبيعة، ودعم مسارات الأمن المائي والتنمية المستدامة في المنطقة.

Scaling Resilient Nature-Based Water Solutions (RNBWS) in the MENA Region
CEDARE – Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE), in cooperation with the International Water Management Institute, is pleased to invite stakeholders, policymakers, experts, researchers, and development practitioners to participate in a webinar mini-series on Scaling Resilient Nature-Based Water Solutions (RNBWS) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region.

The webinars will be held via Zoom on 4 June and 8 June 2026.

This series will explore pathways for scaling climate-resilient water solutions through enabling policies, institutional frameworks, project development, and innovative financing mechanisms.

Bringing together leading experts, decision-makers, and practitioners, the webinars will examine opportunities and challenges associated with scaling nature-based solutions to advance water security, climate adaptation, and sustainable development across the MENA region.

سيداري ومعهد التخطيط القومي يوقعان مذكرة تفاهم واتفاقية تعاون لدعم التنمية المستدامة في مصر

شهد اليوم معالي الدكتور خالد فهمي، المدير التنفيذي لمركز البيئة والتنمية للإقليم العربي وأوروبا (سيداري)، ومعالي الدكتور أشرف العربي، رئيس معهد التخطيط القومي - Institute of National Planning، توقيع مذكرة تفاهم واتفاقية تعاون تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون المشترك في مجالات التنمية المستدامة، والإدارة البيئية، والتخطيط التنموي، وبناء القدرات، والبحث العلمي وتبادل المعرفة.

كما وقع الطرفان اتفاقية تعاون لتنفيذ مشروع تطوير نموذج متكامل لأهداف التنمية المستدامة (SDGs) لجمهورية مصر العربية، والذي يُعد من أهم أدوات دعم السياسات العامة القائمة على الأدلة باستخدام منهجية ديناميكيات النظم (System Dynamics).

وسيسهم المشروع في دعم تنفيذ رؤية مصر 2030 وتعزيز التوجه نحو رؤية مصر 2040 من خلال تطوير قدرات التحليل والاستشراف وصياغة السياسات التنموية المتكاملة.

ويعكس هذا التعاون التزام المؤسستين بتعزيز الشراكات الوطنية وتوظيف المعرفة والبحث العلمي لدعم التخطيط وصنع القرار وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة في مصر والمنطقة العربية.

CEDARE and the Institute of National Planning Sign Strategic Partnership to Advance Sustainable Development in Egypt

CEDARE - Centre for Environment & Development for the Arab Region & Europe and the Institute of National Planning (INP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding and a Cooperation Agreement today in presence of H.E. Dr. Khaled Fahmy, Executive Director of CEDARE, and H.E. Dr. Ashraf El-Araby, President of the Institute of National Planning. The Memorandum of Understanding aims to strengthen collaboration in the fields of sustainable development, environmental management, development planning, capacity building, scientific research, and knowledge exchange, contributing to development efforts in Egypt and across the Arab region.

The two parties also signed a Cooperation Agreement for the development of an integrated Sustainable Development Goals Model (SDGs) for Egypt. The project will support evidence-based policymaking through the application of System Dynamics methodology, enabling policymakers to assess the long-term impacts of development policies and interventions.

The initiative will contribute to the implementation of Egypt Vision 2030 and support the country's transition toward Egypt Vision 2040 by enhancing strategic planning, policy analysis, and sustainable development decision-making.

This partnership reflects the shared commitment of CEDARE and INP to strengthening national cooperation and leveraging knowledge, research, and innovation to support sustainable development and informed policymaking in Egypt and the wider Arab region.

دعوة لمنظمات المرأة والشباب للانضمام إلى اللجنة المتوسطية للتنمية المستدامة

بناءً على قرار الاجتماع الرابع والعشرين للأطراف المتعاقدة في اتفاقية برشلونة وبروتوكولاتها الذي عُقد في القاهرة، والذي يهدف إلى توسيع نطاق المشاركة في اللجنة، من خلال إدراج فئة جديدة من أصحاب المصلحة تمثل المنظمات الإقليمية ودون الإقليمية للمرأة والشباب العاملة في مجالات البيئة والتنمية المستدامة.

تدعو أمانة برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة/خطة عمل البحر المتوسط منظمات المرأة والشباب في منطقة البحر المتوسط إلى التقدم بطلبات للانضمام إلى اللجنة المتوسطية للتنمية المستدامة.

Call for Women’s and Youth Organisations to Join the Mediterranean Commission on Sustainable Development

Following the decision of the Twenty-Fourth Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Barcelona Convention and its Protocols, held in Cairo, aimed at broadening participation within the Commission by introducing a new category of stakeholders representing regional and sub-regional women’s and youth organisations working in the fields of environment and sustainable development,

the Secretariat of the United Nations Environment Programme/Mediterranean Action Plan invites women’s and youth organisations in the Mediterranean region to apply for membership in the Mediterranean Commission on Sustainable Development.
