EnSURE Cluster (Environment, Sustainable Urbanisation, Natural Resources and Energy Cluster) has adopted an interdisciplinary approach towards sustainable development of different governorates across Egypt and is developing projects using concepts like circular economy and Urban NEXUS. Together with our Egyptian partners, EnSURE cluster aims to improve the quality of life of Egyptian people, suppo
rt the effectiveness and technical capacities of public administration and regulations and assist the private sector in playing its role in economic, social and environmental enhancements. The cluster, as a unified management structure, is currently operating through five different projects which altogether follow an integrated NEXUS approach:
- Participatory Infrastructure Project (PIP)
- Capacity Building through Urban Infrastructure Development (CBUID)
- National Solid Waste Management Programme (NSWMP)
- Nile Delta Water Management Programme (NDWM)
- German-Egyptian Joint Committee on Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection (JCEE)
يتبنى قطاع البيئة والتحضر المستدام والموارد الطبيعية والطاقة ( (EnSUREنهجًا متعدد التخصصات تجاه التنمية المستدامة بالمحافظات المختلفة في جميع أنحاء مصر، ويقوم القطاع بتطوير المشروعات المختلفة باستخدام مفاهيم مثل الاقتصاد الدائري والترابط الحضري بالتعاون مع شركائنا المصريين ، يهدف قطاع البيئة والتحضر المستدام والموارد الطبيعية والطاقة (EnSURE) إلى تحسين جودة حياة المصريين ، ودعم الفعالية والقدرات الفنية للإدارات الحكومية ومساعدة القطاع الخاص للقيام بدوره في التحسينات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية. يعمل القطاع، كهيكل إداري موحد، ويتكون حاليًا من خمس مشروعات مختلفة يتبعون معا نهج ترابط متكامل:
مشروع البنية التحتية بالمشاركة (PIP) -
مشروع بناء القدرات من خلال تطوير البنية التحتية في المناطق الحضرية (CBUID) -
البرنامج الوطني لإدارة المخلفات الصلبة (NSWMP) -
برنامج دلتا النيل لإدارة المياه (NDWM) -
مشروع اللجنة العليا المصرية الألمانية المشتركة للطاقات المتجددة وكفاءة الطاقة وحماية البيئة (JCEE) -
