A proud moment at the Embassy today —Ambassador Dominic Goh presented Long Service Award certificates to Mr Essam Sayed Sewilam Ibrahim and Mr Hamed Ahmed Mohamed Awaga for 25 years of outstanding service.

The Singapore Embassy in Cairo is pleased to work with the Cairo Opera House to premiere the Singapore Ballet in Cairo to mark the 60th Anniversary of Singapore-Egypt Relations. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and the National Arts Council Singapore, Singapore Ballet will present a curated repertoire at the Cairo Opera House on 24–25 September 2026. The Singapore Ballet has an excellent international reputation and has performed at many venues including New York and London. While Singapore is well-known for its good governance and economic success, we are also a vibrant global arts hub. To mark this important anniversary, it is fitting that the Singapore Ballet makes its first performance in Egypt - one of the oldest civilisations and cultural centres in the world.



يسرّ سفارة سنغافورة في القاهرة التعاون مع دار الأوبرا المصرية لتقديم العرض الأول لفرقة باليه سنغافورة في القاهرة، احتفالاً بالذكرى الستين للعلاقات بين سنغافورة ومصر. وبدعم من وزارة الثقافة والمجتمع والشباب والمجلس الوطني للفنون في سنغافورة، ستقدّم فرقة باليه سنغافورة برنامجاً فنياً مختاراً على مسرح دار الأوبرا المصرية يومي 24 و25 سبتمبر 2026.

وتتمتع فرقة باليه سنغافورة بسمعة دولية مرموقة، وقد قدّمت عروضها على العديد من المسارح العالمية، بما في ذلك في نيويورك ولندن. وبينما تُعرف سنغافورة بحوكمتها الرشيدة ونجاحها الاقتصادي، فإنها تُعد أيضاً مركزاً عالمياً نابضاً بالحياة للفنون والثقافة. وفي هذه المناسبة المهمة، يأتي تقديم فرقة باليه سنغافورة أول عروضها في مصر، إحدى أعرق الحضارات وأهم المراكز الثقافية في العالم، ليشكّل احتفاءً يليق بالذكرى الستين للعلاقات بين البلدين.

The Network of Centers for Christian-Muslim Relations (NCCMR) Symposium titled: The Future of Christian-Muslim Relations, organised an interfaith conference between 6 July - 7 July 2026 at Steigenberger Hotel, El Tahrir.

Singapore’s Harmony Centre was invited including Singaporean students from Al Azhar University.

From Singapore to Cairo, Harmony Centre continues to learn from global experiences in Christian–Muslim relations, bringing home valuable insights to deepen social cohesion, religious harmony and continuing mutual trust among our communities.

Students benefited from the symposium’s international networking opportunities and made new friends too.

نظّمت شبكة مراكز العلاقات المسيحية–الإسلامية (NCCMR) مؤتمراً للحوار بعنوان "مستقبل العلاقات المسيحية–الإسلامية"، وذلك خلال الفترة من 6 إلى 7 يوليو 2026 في فندق شتايجنبرجر التحرير بالقاهرة.

وقد تمت دعوة مركز الوئام (Harmony Centre) في سنغافورة للمشاركة، إلى جانب عدد من الطلاب السنغافوريين الدارسين في جامعة الأزهر.

ومن سنغافورة إلى القاهرة، يواصل مركز الوئام الاستفادة من التجارب الدولية في مجال العلاقات المسيحية–الإسلامية، ونقل الرؤى والخبرات المكتسبة لتعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي والوئام الديني وترسيخ الثقة المتبادلة بين مختلف فئات المجتمع.

كما استفاد الطلاب من فرص التواصل الدولي التي أتاحها المؤتمر، وتمكنوا من بناء صداقات جديدة.

The Egyptian Family House and Singapore’s Harmony Centre share the same mission of promoting moderation and understanding among different religions and communities.

This morning, Mr Nasir Johari, Head of the Harmony Center in Singapore met Dr Moustafa Abdul Ghani, Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House in Egypt and discussed best practices on both countries' efforts in promoting social and religious harmony.

يتبنى بيت العائلة المصرية ومركز الوئام في سنغافورة رسالةً مشتركة تتمثل في تعزيز الوسطية والتفاهم بين مختلف الأديان والمجتمعات.

وفي صباح اليوم، التقى السيد ناصر جوهري، رئيس مركز الوئام في سنغافورة، بالدكتور مصطفى عبد الغني، الأمين العام لبيت العائلة المصرية، حيث ناقش الجانبان أفضل الممارسات المتبعة في البلدين لتعزيز الوئام المجتمعي والديني.

Today is the last day of the Singapore Food Festival(SFF), a special commemorative event organised in partnership with Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile in conjunction with the the 40th Anniversary of Singapore-Egypt relations. Ambassador Dominic Goh and Mrs Sharon Goh hosted the Asian Heads of Mission in Cairo to a splendid dinner of Singapore cuisines on 17 June 2026. We hope everyone who have participated in the series of SFF events have enjoyed them. Food diplomacy helps promote friendship and bridge understanding across cultures. We thank all for supporting the SFF and the staff of Kamala and Sofitel for contributing to the success of the events.

On 15 June, the second day of the Singapore Food Festival (SFF), Ambassador Dominic Goh and Mrs Sharon Goh hosted a dinner reception for the Singaporean community including our students at Al Azhar, senior officials from the National Training Academy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, Ministry of Transport, Al Azhar University and Cabinet Office. They include Dr Solafa El Goueli, National Training Academy Executive Director, Dr Mohamed Mamdouh, Egyptian Youth Council Chairman and Egyptian Ambassador-designate to Singapore Amira Fahmy. Also present were Senators and Members of Parliament as well as NGO representatives. They are partners of the Singapore Embassy in promoting friendship, people-to-people exchanges and strengthening capacity building for Egypt under the Singapore Cooperation Programme. We thank all our partners and the Singapore community for their strong support for the event.

As part of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations, the Singapore Embassy worked with Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile to organise the Singapore Food Festival in Cairo from 14 to 20 June 2026. The food festival was officially opened by Ambassador Dominic Goh and Mrs Sharon Goh on 14 June 2026. The guests included Egyptian personalities, members of the diplomatic corps, Egyptian business community and senior officials. They savoured a taste of specially curated Singapore dishes like Mee Goreng, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Beef Rendang and Fried Wonton. The dessert, Ice Cream Chendol, was simply irresistable. Please continue to watch out for more exciting upcoming events lined up to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of Singapore-Egypt relations.
