สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไคโร จัดกิจกรรมจิตอาสาเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เนื่องในวันคล้ายวันพระราชสมภพสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง และวันแม่แห่งชาติ 12 สิงหาคม 2569 ณ สถานเลี้ยงเด็กกำพร้า Awlady ย่าน Maadi
เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 13 สิงหาคม 2569 นายธนวัต ศิริกุล เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไคโร นำคณะข้าราชการ คู่สมรมและลูกจ้างสำนักงานทีมประเทศไทย ตัวแทนนักศึกษาและชุมชนคนไทยในอียิปต์ จัดกิจกรรมจิตอาสาบำเพ็ญประโยชน์และบำเพ็ญสาธารณกุศลเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เนื่องในวันคล้ายวันพระราชสมภพสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง และวันแม่แห่งชาติ 12 สิงหาคม 2569 ณ สถานเลี้ยงเด็กกำพร้า Awlady ย่าน Maadi กรุงไคโร
สถานเลี้ยงเด็กกำพร้า Awlady ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 2496 อยู่ภายใต้การดูแลของกระทรวงสมานฉันท์ทางสังคมของอียิปต์ ให้การอุปการะและดูแลเด็กกำพร้าทั้งชายและหญิงรวมกว่า 350 คน ทั้งด้านการศึกษา ฝึกอบรมอาชีพและเสริมทักษะต่าง ๆ โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ร่วมกับชุมชนคนไทยได้มอบเงินบริจาคและอาหารแห้งเพื่อสนับสนุนการดำเนินการของสถานเลี้ยงเด็กกำพร้า
ในโอกาสนี้ คณะจากสถานเอกอัครรราชทูตฯ ได้รับฟังการบรรยายเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานของสถานเลี้ยงเด็กกำพร้าโดยคณะผู้บริหาร และได้หารือและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการพัฒนาทักษะเยาวชนระหว่างไทยและอียิปต์เพื่อส่งเสริมโอกาสความร่วมมือในอนาคตต่อไป
Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo Organizes Volunteer Activity to Commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary and National Mother’s Day
On Thursday, 13 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, led officials, spouses and local staff of the Team Thailand offices, as well as representatives of Thai students and the Thai community in Egypt, in a charitable activity to commemorate the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and Thailand’s National Mother’s Day, observed on 12 August 2026. The activity was held at the Awlady Orphanage in Maadi, Cairo.
Established in 1953, Awlady Orphanage operates under the supervision of Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity and provides care and support for more than 350 orphaned boys and girls. Its services include education, vocational training and various skills-development programmes. On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy, together with the Thai community in Egypt, donated funds and food supplies to support the orphanage’s operations.
During the visit, the Embassy delegation received a briefing from the orphanage’s management on its activities and programmes. The delegation also discussed and exchanged views on potential avenues for promoting cooperation between Thailand and Egypt in youth skills development, with a view to exploring opportunities for future collaboration.
