1. Eligibility criteria
The applicant:
• Holds a recognised specialist diploma in Urology issued by the relevant national authority and is registered on the medical specialist register in the country of residence.
• Is an active member of the national urological association in the country of residence.
2. Registration procedure
Step 1: Application
The applicant completes the online registration and uploads the required documents during the registration process. Deadline: 15 September 2026
The applicant submits the following required documents (in English) during the registration:
- A copy of the specialist diploma in Urology
- A document issued in 2026 by the national urological association in the country of residence confirming the applicants’
o Active membership status
o Urology training: training period and in which institute(s)
Step 2: Review of eligibility
Option 2a: The application is approved.
The applicant will receive an email to confirm that the application is approved.
Option 2b: The application is denied
The applicant will receive an email confirming that the application does not meet the criteria. The board’s decision is not subject to appeal.
Step 3: Confirmation of eligibility
The applicant selected to take the exam receives an email with a payment link. Deadline: 25 September 2026
Step 4: Payment
The exam fee is EUR 575,00; the applicant pays the examination fee by credit card. Deadline: 7 October 2026
Step 5: Confirmation of participation
After the payment has been processed, the applicant will receive an email confirming the participation in the examination. Deadline: 14 October 2026
3. Examination
Formal information and instructions about the exam will be shared with the candidate by email. The candidate follows the instructions provided for a successful exam on 12 November.
Please note that participation is limited to 50 candidates. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Candidates who successfully pass Part 1 (Written Examination) will be eligible to proceed to Part 2 (Oral Examination). The Part 2 Oral Exam is organised with the Egyptian Urological Association in Cairo, Egypt. Further details will be provided in due course.
