Interreg Agrores AgroRES aims to develop measures that encourage the production and use of renewable energy in the agricultural and rural sector.

AgroRES is funded through the Interreg Europe programme. In total 8 partners from 7 European countries (Spain, Poland, United Kingdom, Finland, Romania, Italy and Ireland) are involved in AgroRES project. The AgroRES partners are Devon County Council (England), Regional Council of North Karelia (Finland), IT Sligo & Northern and Western Regional Assembly (Ireland), ARSIAL (Italy), Lubelskie Voivod

Regional Council of North Karelia held a final stakeholder group meeting today in Joensuu, with greetings from the final conference in Rome, and discussions on the project progress and funding opportunities. Thanks to BioKymppi Oy and Kommunikoiva Energia (link in comments) by Karelia-ammattikorkeakoulu for topical case presentations and to all participants for a lively discussion!
