Technical issue question for Digitakt 2 owners.

Just got a Digitakt 2 and I'm trying to transfer the projects from Digitakt 1 to 2.

I've managed to transfer all the samples and they are fine. I updated the firmware on both and I updated the Elektron transfer software as well .

Every time I try to open a project it says error message "load error " on all projects. I've formatted the drive + factory restored it. I even saved a project with no samples in from Digitakt 1 one and try to open that in the Digitakt 2 but same thing. It still says "error message" I've checked the forums and Googled this but nothing resolved.

Any ideas?

Continuing research & diagnostics.

I just broke out the Elektron Analog Four which has been sitting idle in my studio for about 3 years.

Was thinking about getting rid of it but being playing with it today and it's pretty nice.

4 voice multitimbral which is great and syncs perfectly with other Electron gear. Tons of voice editing options. Not really showing it off here too well mind you.

The other night I decided to dust off the original Digitakt sampler, which I've not actually used or played with for about 2 years.

I thought I would load up with the samples from the 2 libraries that I produced for which I run.

Absolute joy mangling these and making some proper good stuff with the versatile packs.

I loaded about 40 samples out of hundreds into the pool and after 15 minutes or so came up with something nice, a couple hours later it sounded like this. Load them into your favourite sampler.

Filled 12 banks X 16 patterns the last 2 weeks. Seems like my rate of creation is accelerating. I must be morphing into a machine.
