🚫⛔️🇪🇸🇬🇧 Abandonar no es la solución!
Hoy, un particular ha encontrado dos gatitos, todavía sin destetar, en su jardín y, en lugar de pedir ayuda, ha decidido cogerlos y abandonarlos en una de las colonias felinas controladas municipalmente.
Por suerte, alguien pasaba por allí justo en ese momento y pudo hacerse cargo de ellos.
No abandonéis animales, sean vuestros o no. Si os encontráis con una situación así, pedid ayuda: llamad a la Policía Local o contactad con la Concejalía de Protección Animal o cualquier Asociación de confianza.
Y, por favor, un poco de sentido común: con 35 °C, dejar a dos bebés sin destetar a su suerte es una barbaridad. Aunque fueran 11 °C, tampoco sería aceptable.
Y una reflexión: si todos esterilizáramos a nuestros gatos, tal y como establece la ley, no tendríamos que pasar por situaciones como esta ni vivir esta vergüenza.
Las colonias felinas controladas no son lugares donde dejar animales que no queremos.
Abandonar nunca es la solución!!!
🇬🇧 Today, a member of the public found two kittens, still too young to be weaned, in their garden and, instead of asking for help, decided to take them and abandon them at one of the municipality’s controlled cat colonies.
Luckily, someone happened to be passing by at exactly that moment and was able to take care of them.
Please do not abandon animals, whether they are yours or not. If you find yourself in a situation like this, ask for help: call the Local Police or contact the Animal Protection Department.
And, please, use some common sense: leaving two unweaned babies to fend for themselves in temperatures of 35°C is outrageous. Even at 11°C, it would still be unacceptable.
And one final thought: if everyone had their cats spayed/neutered, as required by law, we wouldn’t have to deal with situations like this or suffer the shame of seeing them happen.
Controlled cat colonies are not places to dump animals we don’t want. Abandonment is never the solution.
