LPGC’31: Un escenario ‘rebelde’ para música sin fronteras.

🗣️: , con un sonido que transita entre el alt-folk, el slowcore y el indie rock noventero, y , banda canaria que ha participado en , protagonizaron una noche que puso en valor la riqueza, la diversidad y la pluralidad de una escena musical en constante movimiento.

🎸La música emergente no entiende de fronteras culturales. Cruza territorios, mezcla lenguajes y conecta escenas. Las únicas fronteras que reconoce son las de la tolerancia, la libertad y el respeto a la diversidad.

🇪🇺Una voz europea que se construye desde muchos lugares, muchas identidades y muchas formas de crear. Una Europa diversa, abierta y en movimiento.

🗺️🎶Una que desplaza los centros, conecta las periferias y abre nuevos relatos musicales.

🎤 LPGC’31: A ‘rebellious’ stage for music without borders.

🗣️ , with a sound that moves between alt-folk, slowcore and ‘90s indie rock, and , a Canary Islands band that has taken part in , headlined a night that celebrated the richness, diversity and plurality of a music scene in constant motion.

🎸 Emerging music knows no cultural boundaries. It crosses territories, blends languages and connects different scenes. The only borders it recognises are those defined by tolerance, freedom and respect for diversity.

🇪🇺 A European voice built from many places, many identities and many ways of creating. A Europe that is diverse, open and always evolving.

🌶️MOJO MUSIC FEST se sumó al impulso cultural de LPGC’31 con un espacio escénico concebido como punto de encuentro entre música alternativa, creación contemporánea y territorio.

🎸🧡 Sobre el escenario LPGC’31, la música conectó a artistas y público en una celebración colectiva de la cultura, recordándonos que a través del arte los territorios dialogan y se acercan.

🗺️De Malta a Gran Canaria: dos islas que piensan Europa desde la periferia.

🎨 Jason Joe Farrugia y Cynthia Sali han dejado su huella en los muros del Castillo de Mata a través de ‘REBEL WALLS. Urban Stories’, uno de los proyectos impulsados por la candidatura .

🤝Su residencia artística de arte urbano nace de la colaboración entre LPGC’31 y Victoria-Gozo 2031.

🇪🇺Porque para LPGC’31, la dimensión europea no empieza en 2031. Se construye desde ahora, creando redes, generando movilidad y haciendo de la cultura un espacio de encuentro entre periferias.

🌊Dos islas. Dos candidaturas. Una misma voluntad: rebelarnos contra la geografía y mirar Europa desde otros centros.

🗺️ From Malta to Gran Canaria: two islands imagining Europe from the periphery.

🎨 Jason Joe Farrugia and Cynthia Saliba have left their mark on the walls of Castillo de Mata through ‘REBEL WALLS. Urban Stories’, one of the projects promoted by the LPGC’31 candidacy.

🤝 This urban art residency is the result of a collaboration between LPGC’31 and Victoria-Gozo 2031.

🇪🇺 For LPGC’31, the European dimension does not begin in 2031. It is being built now through networks, mobility, and cultural exchange, turning culture into a space for connection between territories on the periphery.

🌊 Two islands. Two candidacies. One shared ambition: to challenge geography and reimagine Europe from different centres.

¿Qué pasa cuando el museo abre sus puertas al freestyle, al rap y a las voces jóvenes?

💬Que la cultura deja de estar solo en las paredes y empieza a tomar la palabra.

🏰 🎶 En ‘La Toma de Mata’, el se convierte en un espacio de encuentro, creación y comunidad para quienes hacen del rap una forma de expresión e identidad.

🗓️💥La iniciativa continuará hasta diciembre, todos los miércoles por la tarde, con nuevas voces, rimas y encuentros.

🫟Porque ‘REBEL WALLS. Urban Stories’, impulsada por LPGC2031, también va de esto: de abrir espacios, romper fronteras entre cultura y ciudadanía y escuchar a quienes están construyendo el relato de la cultura urbana.

💬 Culture stops living only on the walls and starts speaking for itself.

🌍💬La geografía también recuerda.

¿Qué ocurre cuando un territorio se rebela contra el silencio y decide recuperar su propia memoria?

✊🗣️En el marco de las jornadas ‘La Rebelión del Relato’, celebradas recientemente con impulso de la candidatura LPGC3031, Pino Sosa, activista y pionera de la memoria democrática, nos invita a mirar atrás para comprender quiénes somos y qué historias quedaron fuera del relato.

🗺️Porque “Rebelión de la Geografía” también significa esto: reivindicar las voces, las experiencias y las memorias de quienes habitaron nuestros territorios y que durante demasiado tiempo quedaron al margen.

Una rebelión para que la memoria no sea pasado, sino una herramienta para construir el futuro💜.

What happens when a territory rebels against silence and chooses to reclaim its own memory?

✊🗣️ As part of ‘The Rebellion of the Narrative’, recently promoted by the LPGC2031 candidacy, Pino Sosa, activist and pioneer of democratic memory, invites us to look back in order to understand who we are and which stories were left out of the narrative.

🗺️ Because also means this: reclaiming the voices, experiences, and memories of those who inhabited our territories and who, for far too long, remained on the margins.

💜 A rebellion that understands memory not as something belonging to the past, but as a tool for building the future.

La igualdad se construye, se aprende y se transmite.

🗺️Las Palmas de Gran Canaria es una ciudad diversa, atravesada por múltiples culturas, identidades y experiencias. Una realidad que nos invita a mirar el mundo desde la interseccionalidad, reconociendo que nuestras diferencias no nos separan, nos enriquecen.

💜‘Rebelión de la Geografía’ es también una invitación a derribar las barreras que aún limitan oportunidades, cuestionar las desigualdades y seguir ampliando espacios donde cada persona pueda vivir y expresarse en libertad.

💬 La jornada exploró nuevas herramientas y experiencias para abordar el patrimonio cultural desde perspectivas más diversas, inclusivas y participativas.

🇪🇺 Voces de Canarias y Europa compartieron experiencias vinculadas a la memoria, la diversidad cultural, la igualdad y el pensamiento crítico, demostrando que el patrimonio no es un relato cerrado, sino una conversación en constante construcción.

👉Porque toda comunidad se cuenta a sí misma a través de las historias que conserva, pero también a través de aquellas que decide volver a mirar, revisar y ampliar.

🎪💛 ¡El circo nos une! Sin barreras, con todas las personas.

Una semana de aprendizaje, creatividad e inclusión con Circus 4 All, el intercambio europeo que reunió en Gran Canaria a profesionales de 🇫🇷 🇮🇹 🇳🇱 🇪🇸 para compartir herramientas y metodologías de circo inclusivo.

✨ La experiencia culminó con una jornada de dinamización familiar en el Castillo de Mata, apoyada por LPgC2031, donde grandes y pequeños descubrieron que el circo puede ser un espacio para convivir, crear y participar 🎭👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🌈.

🤝 Un proyecto impulsado por Erasmus+, Injuve y entidades de España, Francia, Italia y Países Bajos, con la colaboración de LPGC’31.

💫 Porque el circo es de todas las personas. ¡Y para todas las personas!

🎪💛 The circus brings us together! No barriers, with everyone included.

A week of learning, creativity, and inclusion through Circus 4 All, the European exchange that brought professionals from 🇫🇷 🇮🇹 🇳🇱 🇪🇸 together in Gran Canaria to share inclusive circus tools and methodologies.

✨ The experience culminated in a family engagement day at Castillo de Mata, supported by LPGC2031, where children and adults alike discovered that the circus can be a space for connection, creativity, and participation 🎭👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🌈.

🤝 A project supported by Erasmus+, Injuve, and organizations from Spain, France, Italy, and the Netherlands, in collaboration with LPGC’31.
