เมื่อวันที่ 24 สิงหาคม 2569 นายชีวินท์ ณ ถลาง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมาดริด ได้พบหารือกับเอกอัครราชทูตต่างประเทศ เพื่อแนะนำตัวและทำความรู้จักในโอกาสเข้ารับหน้าที่ ได้แก่ 1. นาย Yuri Klimenko เอกอัครราชทูตรัสเซียประจำสเปน และ 2. นาย Peter Huber เอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรียประจำสเปน ทั้งนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตทั้ง 2 ราย เป็นผู้มีประสบการณ์สูงเกี่ยวกับสเปน เนื่องจากในอดีตได้เคยประจำการที่สเปนก่อนวาระปัจจุบัน จึงเป็นโอกาสดีในการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นต่าง ๆ เกี่ยวกับการปฏิบัติภารกิจในสเปน
ในการหารือกับเอกอัครราชทูตรัสเซียฯ ทั้งสองฝ่ายแสดงความยินดีต่อความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างไทย-รัสเซีย โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตรัสเซียประจำสเปนยินดีสนับสนุนภารกิจต่าง ๆ ของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทย นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ความมั่นคงในภูมิภาค ประเด็นทางเศรษฐกิจและงานด้านกงสุลด้วย
ต่อมาในวันเดียวกัน เอกอัครราชทูตชีวินท์ฯ ได้เข้าพบเอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรียฯ โดยได้แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นเกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการทางสังคมและเศรษฐกิจ รวมถึงประสบการณ์ด้านงานพหุภาคี ซึ่งฝ่ายไทยแสดงความยินดีต่อออสเตรียในการดำรงตำแหน่งสมาชิกไม่ถาวรในคณะมนตรีความมั่นคงแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNSC) วาระปี ค.ศ. 2027-2028 โดยฝ่ายออสเตรียขอบคุณฝ่ายไทยอีกครั้งที่ได้สนับสนุนออสเตรียในการเลือกตั้งดังกล่าว รวมทั้งแสดงความพร้อมในการให้ความร่วมมือกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำสเปน

On 24 August 2026, Mr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, met with the foreign Ambassadors to introduce himself and get acquainted upon assuming his new duties. These included 1. Mr. Yuri Klimenko, Ambassador of Russia to Spain, and 2 Mr. Peter Huber, Ambassador of Austria to Spain. Both Ambassadors possess extensive experience regarding Spain as they were previously posted to this country years before the current term. This provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views on conducting duties in Spain.
During discussion with the Russian Ambassador, both sides expressed satisfaction with the good relations between Thailand and Russia. The Russian Embassy in Spain conveyed willingness to support missions of the Royal Thai Embassy. In addition, both sides discussed the security situation in the region, economic and consular matters.
Later on the same day, Ambassador Cheevindh met with the Austrian Ambassador. The conversation included social and economic issues as well as their experiences in multilateral work. The Thai side congratulated Austria on its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for the 2027-2028 term. The Austrian side reaffirmed its gratitude to Thailand for such support and expressed readiness to cooperate with the Royal Thai Embassy in Spain.

El 24 de agosto de 2026, el Sr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Embajador de Tailandia en España, mantuvo encuentros con Embajadores extranjeros con motivo de su reciente incorporación al cargo, a fin de presentarse y establecer contacto con sus homólogos. En esta ocasión, se reunió con el Sr. Yuri Klimenko, Embajador de Rusia en España, y el Sr. Peter Huber, Embajador de Austria en España. Ambos Embajadores cuentan con una amplia experiencia en España, al haber estado destinados anteriormente en el país antes de sus actuales mandatos. Los encuentros brindaron así una valiosa oportunidad para intercambiar opiniones y experiencias sobre el desempeño de sus respectivas misiones diplomáticas en España.
Durante el encuentro con el Embajador de Rusia, ambas partes expresaron su satisfacción por las buenas relaciones entre Tailandia y Rusia. La Embajada de Rusia en España manifestó su disposición a apoyar las actividades de la Embajada Real de Tailandia. Asimismo, ambas partes intercambiaron opiniones sobre la situación de seguridad en la región, cuestiones económicas y asuntos consulares.
Posteriormente, ese mismo día, el Embajador Cheevindh se reunió con el Embajador de Austria, con quien intercambió opiniones sobre la evolución social y económica, así como sobre sus experiencias en el ámbito multilateral. La parte tailandesa felicitó a Austria por su elección como miembro no permanente del Consejo de Seguridad de las Naciones Unidas (CSNU) para el período 2027–2028. Por su parte, la parte austriaca reiteró su agradecimiento a Tailandia por el apoyo brindado en dicha elección y expresó su disposición a cooperar con la Embajada Real de Tailandia en España.
