His Excellency Simon Pullicino, Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Malta to the Kingdom of Spain, has earlier this morning officially submitted his Copie d'Usage to Ms. Irina Sanchis Vives, Segunda Introductora de Embajadores de Protocolo, Cancillería y Órdenes at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain.

This important step marks the formal commencement of Ambassador Pullicino's diplomatic mission in Spain and reaffirms the commitment to further strengthening the longstanding friendship and excellent bilateral relations between Malta and Spain.

The Working Holiday for Youth of Maltese Descent Scheme offers young people of Maltese descent the opportunity to reconnect with their ancestral homeland by living, working and studying in Malta.

✅ Open to individuals aged 18–30 of Maltese descent
✅ Eligible applicants may apply for a National D Visa, issued by Identità
✅ Visa valid for one year
✅ An opportunity to explore Malta, gain valuable work and study experience, and strengthen family and cultural ties with the country
