Hello, I'm Albufereta, the third largest wetland in Mallorca; you will find me next to the Bay of Pollença, in the north of the island. In 1991 I was protected as Natural Site of Special Interest (ANEI, under the regional Natural Sites Act) and in 2001 legally declared as a nature reserve. I am part of the EU Natura 2000 network, both as SPA (Special Protection Area for Birds) and SCI (Site of Community Importance). I'm really proud of all that, and I wish they'd look after me better. You are most welcome to visit me and to come to this page and leave your footprint here.
