Well, it comes to us all… Retirement! And I decided that after more than fifteen years with Loro Parque and the Discovery Tour, it was time to explore new experiences and so I have retired. I was so thankful to find someone on the same wavelength as I am and I had no hesitation in handing over ‘my’ Discovery Tour to Julie Dixon who has so much experience in tourism and working with large teams. I am sure she will do an excellent job. Thank you to all of you for all your support and comments over the years, keep on liking and commenting on your experiences of this wonderful and entertaining tour. Cheers, Sandy

It is with great sadness that I have announce that our beautiful Hanna, who had been with the Discovery Tour for 14 years, passed away on Sunday evening after a long, difficult battle with Cancer. She was so brave and fought so hard to beat this terrible illness. She was one of the most caring, lovable people I have ever met and from the beginning helped build the Discovery Tour into the success it is today. She will be greatly missed by all her friends here in Loro Parque. RIP dear Hanna.
