Longechuk and Maiwut Counties Commence Registration Centers Assessment Ahead of the December 2026 General Elections
The Registration Centers Assessment officially commenced in Longechuk and Maiwut Counties on August 1, 2026, marking an important step in preparations for the December 2026 General Elections.
The assessment aims to ensure that registration centers are accessible, functional, and ready to support a credible and transparent voter registration process.
The people of Longechuk and Maiwut Counties have demonstrated their readiness to participate in the democratic process. The Gajaak Nuer and Koma communities are also ready for the December 2026 General Elections, reflecting their commitment to peace, democracy, and the constitutional right to elect their leaders.
