What does it take to empower an adolescent?

It goes far beyond traditional academics.

The UN’s life skills initiatives for adolescents commenced today at the UNCC-AA. It is focusing on empowering young people (ages 10–19) with cognitive, emotional, and social tools to navigate complex challenges, transition to adulthood, and drive community change.

We had the pleasure of attending an incredible presentation by Mewded on the restoration of Africa Hall.
​It was fascinating to get a behind-the-scenes look at the technical side of the renovation. Seeing how architects, conservationists, and engineers collaborated to preserve such an iconic piece of history while modernizing the structure was truly masterclass.
​Kudos to Mewded and the organizers, the Urban Centre, for an insightful and inspiring session!

Spent the morning exploring the Palace Museum. Walking through these spaces is a powerful reminder of Ethiopia's proud history. The exhibits are breathtaking, showcasing everything from historic treaties and global diplomatic gifts to car collections. A must-visit!

We were live at the UNCC-AA celebrating ! Attending the Brand Africa event for the unveiling of Africa’s Best Brands was the perfect way to mark the occasion. While global brands still hold a heavy footprint on the continent, it is clear that African consumers are showing immense love and trust for homegrown brands that drive true local impact. During the ceremony, the Chief of Publications and Conference Management Section of ECA, Mr. Marcel Bolboaca, gave a profound presentation tracking the monumental contributions of the ECA, established to forge a united economic and political front, serving as the perfect backdrop for Africa's most defining moments, from the historic establishment of the OAU to driving vital conversations shaping the continent's development today.
