በዓለም ኢኮኖሚ ፎረም ድጋፍ የሚንቀሳቀሰው ሄልፕ ሎጀስቲክስ (HELP Logistics) የተባለ ዓለም አቀፍ መንግስታዊ ያልሆነ ድርጅት ከኢትዮጵያ የደረጃዎች ኢንስቲትዩት ጋር በጋራ በሚሰራባቸው ጉዳዮች ላይ ውይይት አደረገ።

ውይይቱ ያተኮረው፣ ለሰብዓዊ እርዳታ የሚውሉ የምግብና የጤና ምርቶችን ወደ አገር ውስጥ ለማስገባት በሚያጋጥሙ የጉምሩክ እንቅፋቶች ላይ ድርጅቱ በቀረጸው ፕሮጀክት ዙሪያ ከኢንስቲትዩቱ ጋር በትብብር ለመስራት በሚያስችል አግባብ ላይ ነው።
የኢንስቲትዩቱ ዋና ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር መሰረት በቀለ ሄልፕ ሎጀስቲክስ ለሰብዓዊ እርዳታ ወደ አገር ውስጥ የሚያስገባቸው ምርቶች ለተረጂዎች ከመድረሳቸው በፊት በሚኖሩ ሁኔታዎች ላይ አስፈላጊውን ትብብር እንዲደረግለት ኢንስቲትዩቱን መጠየቁ በጎ አላማ መሆኑን ጠቁመው፣ ምርቶቹ የኢትዮጵያን ደረጃ የሚያሟሉ መሆናቸውን ለማረጋገጥ ድርጅቱ ከኢንስቲትዩቱ ጋር በቅርበት እንዲሠራ ጥሪ አቅርበዋል።
ዋና ዳይሬክተሯ አክለውም፣ ኢንስቲትዩቱ ደረጃዎችን ከማዘጋጀት ባለፈ ደረጃዎችን ለመተግበር የሚያስፈልግ ስልጠና፣ የቴክኒክ ድጋፍና የማማከር አገልግሎት እንደሚሰጥ ለድርጅቱ ተወካዮች አብራርተዋል። ከዚህ በተጨማሪ የስኪምና የደረጃ ምልክት አስተዳደር ስራዎችን እንደሚያከናውን ጠቅሰው ደረጃዎች የሚያመጡትን ተጽዕኖ ለመገምገምና ሀገር በቀል ደረጃዎችን እንዲዘጋጁ መነሻ ሀሳብ የሚሆን የጥናትና ምርምር ስራዎችን እንደሚያከናውንም አስረድተዋል።
ዋና ዳይሬክተሯ ጥራታቸውን የጠበቁና የኢትዮጵያን ደረጃ የሚያሟሉ ለሰብዓዊ እርዳታ የሚውሉ የምግብና የጤና ምርቶች ለተጠቃሚዎች እንዲደርሱ ኢንስቲትዩቱ የራሱን ድርሻ እንደሚወጣ በማረጋገጥ የጉምሩክ ሂደቱን ለማሳለጥ ደረጃዎችን በማጣጣም ረገድ ከአፍሪካ የደረጃዎች ድርጅት ጋር በጋራ እየሰራ ከመሆኑም በተጨማሪ አስመጭዎች የአፍሪካ የደረጃዎች ድርጅትና የኢትዮጵያ የደረጃዎች ኢንስቲትዩት የደረጃ ምልክቶችን በጋራ እየተጠቀሙ እንደሚገኙ ለድርጅቱ ተወካዮች አብራርተዋል።
የዚህ ግንኙነት መነሻ የሆነው ፕሮጀክት በትግበራ ሂደት ላይ የሚገኝ ሲሆን የጉምሩክ ዝግጁነት ፓይለት ፕሮጀክት (Customs Readiness Pilot Project Ethiopia) ለሰብዓዊ እርዳታ የሚውሉ ጤና ነክ ምርቶችን ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ለማስገባት ባሉ የጉምሩክ የማስተላለፍ ሂደት ላይ የሚያጋጥሙ አሰራሮችን እንዲሁም የቅንጅት ስራዎች ጋር በተገናኘ ያሉ ችግሮችን በማጥናት የመፍትሄ ሀሳቦችን በመሰነድ በሂደቱ ለሚሳተፉ አካላት የምክር አግልግሎት ለማቅረብ የተነደፈ ፕሮጀክት ነው።
An international non-governmental organization called HELP Logistics, which operates with the support of the World Economic Forum, held discussions with the Institute of Ethiopian Standards on areas of joint cooperation.

The discussion focused on how to collaborate with the institute regarding a project designed by the organization to address customs obstacles encountered when importing food and health products intended for humanitarian aid into the country.
The Director General of the Institute, Dr. Meseret Bekele, noted that HELP Logistics' request for the necessary cooperation regarding conditions prior to delivering humanitarian aid imports to beneficiaries was a good initiative, and called on the organization to work closely with the institute to ensure that the products meet Ethiopian standards.
The Director General added and explained to the Delegation that the Institute is working on developing standards, and provides the necessary training, technical support, and advisory services required to implement standards.
In addition, she mentioned that it carries out standard mark administration activities, as well as conducting research and study work to evaluate the impact of standards and serve as a basis for developing indigenous standards. Assuring that the institute will play its part to ensure that quality humanitarian food and health products meeting Ethiopian standards.
The Director General explained to the Delegates that it is working jointly with the African Organization for Standardization (ARSO) to harmonize standards to speed up the customs process, and that importers are jointly using the standard marks of both ARSO and the Institute of Ethiopian Standards.
The project that formed the basis of this partnership is currently in the implementation phase. The "Customs Readiness Pilot Project Ethiopia" is designed to study processes and coordination challenges associated with customs clearance procedures for importing health-related humanitarian aid products into Ethiopia, document proposed solutions, and provide advisory services to stakeholders involved in the process.
