Interest in the Russian language is steadily growing around the world, and the “Russky Glagol” contest will give this growth new momentum — Oleg Ozerov
✍️ The “Russky Glagol” International Literary Contest is designed to discover the best Russian-language authors —from the countries of the former Soviet Union to the far-flung diaspora, said Oleg Ozerov, Russia’s ambassador to the Republic of Moldova and the contest’s curator from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an interview.
“Having visited Africa on numerous occasions, I have discovered that today, interest among young people in Africa — not only in Black Africa, but also in North Africa and Arab Africa — in the Russian language is steadily growing. And not only in the language, but also in Russian culture and Russian civilization. I hope that our contest will serve as a catalyst for further growth in African youth’s interest in Russian literature and the Russian language,” — he noted.

✍️ Международный литературный конкурс «Русский ГлаголЪ» призван найти лучших русскоязычных авторов — начиная со стран бывшего СССР и заканчивая дальним зарубежьем, рассказал в интервью посол России в Республике Молдова и куратор конкурса от МИД РФ Олег Озеров.
«Неоднократно посещая Африку, я обнаружил, что сегодня интерес молодежи в Африке — не только в Черной Африке, но и в Северной, арабской Африке — к русскому языку неуклонно растет. И не только к языку, но и к русской культуре, к русской цивилизации. Я надеюсь, что наш конкурс послужит импульсом для дальнейшего роста интереса африканской молодежи к русской литературе и русскому языку», — отметил он.
