🇫🇷🇺🇳 September 2026: France takes the Presidency of the UN Security Council.

For this critical month of international diplomacy, France will work for a Security Council that is responsive to crises, supports peace processes and upholds the principles of the UN Charter.

The French Presidency will also champion Security Council reform and effective multilateralism in the service of international peace and security.

🇫🇷🇪🇹🌍 France global health engagement : Ambassador Amprou in Addis Ababa

On the margins of WHO AFRO RC76, we welcomed H.E. Anne-Claire Amprou, French Ambassador for Global Health, for high-level exchanges with Ethiopian and African health partners.

Discussions with Ministry of Health,Ethiopia Africa CDC and Unitaid focused on local manufacturing, access to health innovations, stronger health systems and continued action against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

🇫🇷 France remains committed to advancing African health sovereignty, equitable access to innovation and sustainable health partnerships.
