የአከባቢዉ ወጣቶች ስለብ/ፓርኩ ግንዛቤ እንዲኖራቸዉና ተመልሰዉ ለህዝባቸዉ ግንዛቤ እንዲሰጡ የተጀመረዉ ሥራ ተጠናክሮ ይቀጥላል፡፡ በዚሁ መሠረት ዛሬ በ15/12/2026 ዓ.ም ከፈንታሌ ወረዳ ወጣቶች ሊግ ጽ/ቤትና ከመታሃራ ከተማ የተወጣጡ ወጣቶች በፓርኩ ዉስጥ ጉብኚት አድርገዋል ግንዛቤም እንዲያገኙ ተደርጓል፡፡

Birds of Awash National Park
With more than 450 species recorded, Awash National Park is one of Ethiopia’s best bird-watching destinations. Aside from two endemics, there are several highly range-restricted birds to look for. This includes the sought-after sombre rock chat, which stays around the lava fields below Mt Fentale. Many birds of prey breed in Awash gorge and on the volcano’s slopes. Colorful dry-country specials, such as golden-breasted starling and red-and-yellow barbet, brighten up the scene. Palearctic migrants are present from November to March.

The best time for bird watching in Awash NP is November to March. This is when Palearctic migrants are present and rainfall is minimal. As many specials are resident, birding is good throughout the year. July and August are quite wet, but this shouldn’t interfere too much with your birding time.

አለም አቀፍ የሬንጀሮች ቀን በአዋሽ ብ/ፓርክ ደረጃ ተከብሮ ዋለ፡፡
በበአሉ ላይ በአካባቢዉ የሚገኙ የመከላከያ አመራሮች፣ ሚኒሻዎች፣ የቀበሌ አመራሮች፣ የፓርኩ ሠራተኞችና ሌሎች በለድርሻ አካላት በተገኙበት በደመቅ ሁኔታ የተከበረ ሲሆን በእለቱም ቀኑን በማስመልከት የሬንጀሮች ምንነት፣ በሀገራቸዉ የተፈጥሮ ሀብት ጥበቃ የሬንጀሮች ሚና፣ በሥራ ቦታቸዉ እያጋጠማቸዉ የሚገኙ የሚገኙ ተግዳሮቶች… ወዘተ ለታሚዎች ለመነሻ በፓርኩ ባለሙያ ቀርቦ ታደሚዎቹም ሰፊ ዉይይት ያደረጉ ሲሆን በፕሮግራሙ ላይ የተገኙት ባለድርሻ አካላትም ከሬንጀሮች ጎን በመቆም እነሱን በመደገፍ ለፓርኩ ጥበቃ፣ ልማትና እድገት የራሳቸዉን አስተዋጽኦ ለማበርከት ቃል የገቡ ሲሆን በመጨረሻም የችግኝ ተካላ በማካሄድ የእለቱ ፕሮግራም ተጠናቋል፡፡
World Ranger Day was celebrated with high spirits at the Awash National Park.
The event was marked colorfully with the presence of local defense leadership, militiamen, kebele leaders, park staff, and other stakeholders. During the occasion, a briefing was presented to the attendees highlighting the identity of rangers, their vital role in the conservation of the country's natural resources, and the challenges they face in their workplaces.
The participants engaged in extensive discussions on the topics. Stakeholders present at the program pledged to stand by the rangers, support them, and make their own contributions to the conservation, development, and growth of the park. Finally, the day's program concluded with a tree-planting session.
