Despite very difficult times due to -19, the war in Tigray, and financial shortages, you remained dedicated and tirelessly worked to achieve your dream.

His dissertation includes seven internationally peer-reviewed publications, and his defense received an outstanding 97/100 (excellent) from the evaluation committee.

ብፍላይ ኣብዚ እዋን ምስ ዘሎ ሕፅረት ነዳዲ ተታሒዙ ዘጋጠመ ፀገም ንምፍታሕ ብሓገዝ ፕሮጀክት ኣይሪሽ-ኢክራፍ ኣብ መፋስስ ማይሾማ ክልተ ብሓይሊ ፀሓይ ዝሰርሓ ሶላር ፓምፕ ሓገዝ ተገይሩ።
ካብዚ ብምብጋስ እውን ኣብ ባይታ ዝረአዩ ዘበረታትዑ ተግባራዊ ስራሕቲ ከም ዝተፈፀሙን ኣብ ሓረስቶት ልዑል ሞያዊ ዓቕሚ ከም ዝተፈጠረ ንምግንዛብ ተኻኢሉ እዩ።
በዚ መሰረት ተጀሚሮም ዘለው ስራሕቲ ንቐፃሊ ተጠናኺሮም ክቕፅሉን ንኻልኦት መርኣያ ክኸውን ዝኽእል ሞዴል መፋስስ ኣብ ምፍጣር ብትብዓት ምስራሕ ከም ዘድሊ ሓቢሮም ኣለው።

Monitoring and evaluation activities were conducted at Aksum Agricultural Research Center.

The monitoring and evaluation team included representatives from:
- Bureau of Agriculture and Natural Resources (including the / Regional Project Coordinator)
- ( )
- Adigrat ( -SDCOAdB)
- Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) — researchers from Aksum

The activities were implemented in collaboration with Aksum Agricultural Research Center and the Tahtay Maichew District Economic Development Sector.

Key activities included:
- PED of Red onion variety seed multiplication
- PED of improved potato variety
- Demonstrations on the application of organic and chemical fertilizers for onion production
- Demonstration of dual-purpose improved chickens;
- Demonstrations of integrated forage varieties, including grass and
- Adaptation trial of varieties
- Aksum poultry research & multiplication farm
These activities were carried out in a coordinated manner by an organized farmers’ research group, together with station and district agricultural professionals and researchers engaged in the research process.

Two solar pumps were donated by the – Project to address fuel shortages. As a result, practical activities were strengthened on the ground, and farmers’ technical capacity was significantly improved.

Going forward, the work initiated must be sustained and strengthened through continued, coordinated efforts to improve the community’s livelihoods and to develop a model catchment that can serve as a benchmark for others.

Aksum Agricultural Research Center’s NRM Research Core Process Irrigation Research Team has been conducting field trials at the Irrigation scheme in the Maichew District Zone of , to determine the crop water requirement of taff. The study uses irrigation water application to identify the optimum production conditions and to support irrigation scheduling. The trial was financed by , using the taff variety, and it is currently progressing well.

Aksum Agricultural Research Center provided an evaluation-based training on irrigation development for farmers.

In collaboration with the Tahtay Maichew District Economic Development Sector and with financial support from and the project, Aksum Agricultural Research Center delivered an evaluation-based training to 75 farmers at May Siye Model Station in the Watershed, Tahtay Maichew district, Central Zone of Tigray.

The program combined demonstrations and hands-on activities led by an organized farmers research group and covered several integrated irrigation interventions: seed multiplication of the improved onion variety ; a pre-extension trial of the potato variety; demonstration of dual-purpose improved chickens; demonstrations of grass and varieties; -compost; and modern fertilizer application techniques for onion production.

Researchers and agricultural professionals at various levels supported and monitored the farmers–research group’s work. Participants agreed to address identified weaknesses and sustain the practices that proved successful.
