The Oromo Federalist Congress - OFC has conducted a successful public discussion forum with the Oromo community in

The Toronto Public discussion which is part of the official tour of the OFC delegation across North America was held on September 7,2024.
The discussion attended by several members of the Canadian Oromo community has focused on creating awareness about the current political situation in Oromia, Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa and how the Oromo nation could navigate it.
The community members were eager to learn about the current situation in Oromia and Ethiopia and the position OFC holds as a party.
Professor Merera Gudina provided detailed account of the political, social and economic situation of our country and the ways the Oromo diaspora community could positively engage and contribute for the betterment of life in Ethiopia.

The party has scheduled visit to the City of Edmonton on September 14, Seattle WA September 21 and Portland on September 22.
