Dear Yoal Ken Community,
On behalf YCA in Gambella, I am very grateful to officially bring you the blessing and the good news of an appointment to our son and brother Changkouth David Bidit, as a Head of Gambella Regional Revenue Authority Bureau.
As you may all noticed, the news of the appointment was miscommunicated yesterday by some inpatient individuals who received a false alarm where they published a wrong position (Peace and Security) while the appointments were not issued publicly by the party.
Till dawn today, YCA chose not to release any statement. However, we waited and verifiablly obtained the appointment letter from the party. Today, with the receipt of the appointment letter we finally came to conclude that the first position wasn't true and we took the initiative to publicly apologise for the inconvenience and to clear the doubt to our community and the general public out there that our appointment was never a Peace and Security instead it was initially the Revenue Authority Bureau Head.
As YKC in Ethiopia, we congratulate Mr. Changkouth and applaud the new Regional Government for the recognition and the trust bestowed on our community appointing Mr. Changkouth on this position.
On this particular appointment, we proudly received the news, and this was exactly what we have been fighting for. Today we believe that our baite works very well and we caught a good fish in return. For those of you who know how to fish, you can not use an earthworm to catch Nilefash nor a plankton to catch a gaint Talafia! Rather, you could use a big chunk of meat or the whole fish to catch one. This is what happened to taday. It was sad that we had been mistreated and marginalised for nearly a decade during past leadership, but this signal the awakening of the dormant gaint (YAOL KEN COMMUNITY ) in the Gambella regional politic again. We welcome the appointment with joy, whereas we we equally believe in Changkouth's ability to do the job beyond his call of duty. Kudos to Changkouth once again, and we must say, he deserves it all! Plead, let us give him and his party our support, and may God bless Yoal Community!
