የተግባራዊ ሳይንስ መር ስርዓተ ትምህርት ግምገማ ወርክሾፕ በመካሄድ ላይ ነው

ዩኒቨርሲቲያችን በተግባራዊ ሳይንስ ልየታ መሰረት በ5 ኮሌጆች የ33 የትምህርት ፕሮግራሞች ስርዓተ ትምህርት በመከለስ ላይ ይገኛል፡፡
በዛሬው እለት መካሄድ በጀመረው የስርዓተ ትምህርት ክለሳ የውስጥ ግምገማ መድረክ የዩኒቨርሲቲያችን ፕሬዝዳንት ዶክተር ፋሪስ ደሊል መልእክት አስተላልፈዋል፡፡ በመልዕክታቸው ዩኒቨርሲቲያችን የተግባራዊ ሳይንስ ምድብ ውስጥ እንደመሆኑ ስርዓተ ትምህርቱ ፡- ክህሎት ከተግባር ጋር በማጣመር፣ ገበያ መር በማድረግ እና ፍላጎትን መሰረት በማድረግ መከለስ እንዳለበት አሳስበዋል፡፡
ስርዓተ ትምህርቱ አካታች ሀገር በቀል እውቀቶችን የቃኘ ሊሆን ይገባል ያሉት ፕሬዝዳንቱ የክለሳ ግምገማው በከፍተኛ ትኩረት መካሄድ እንዳለበት የአደራ መልእክት አስተላልፈዋል፡፡
የመማር ማስተማር ጉዳዮች ምክትል ፕሬዝዳንት ዶክተር ሃብቴ ዱላ በስርዓተ ትምህርት ክለሳ ላይ ለተሳተፉ አካላት ምስጋና አቅርበዋል።
አያይዘውም የግምገማ ስራው በትኩረት መሰራት እንደሚገባው እና በግምገማው የሚነሱ የማሻሻያ ሃሳቦች በሚገባ እንደሚካተቱ ገልጸዋል፡፡
የስርዓተ ትምህርት የኢንደሰትሪ እና የሙያ ማህበራትን እንዲያሳትፍ፣ የሀገር በቀል እውቀትን በማካተት፣ ከልየታ ጋር ማስማማት፣ ውጤት፣ ተግባር እና ፍላጎት ተኮር እንዲሆን፣ የባለ ድርሻ ተሳትፎ በማሳደግ፣ ከሀገር እና ገበያ ፍላጎት ጋር ስሙም መሆን እንዳለበት፣ ኢንተርንሺፕ እና ኤክስተርንሺፕን መያዝ፣ በጋራ ማስተማር፣ በቴክኖሎጂ መደገፍ፣ ማህበረሰብ ተኮር ማድረግን ጨምሮ አስፈላጊ ጉዳዮችን እንዲያካትት መደረግ እንዳለበት በመድረኩ ተጠቁሟል።
የስርዓተ ትምህርት ትግበራው ከሀገር አቀፍ እና ዓለም አቀፍ እውቅና ጋር ቁርኝት እንዲኖረው ማድረግም በመድረኩ ትኩረት ተሰጥቶታል።
ከትምህርት ክፍል ጀምሮ በውይይት ዳብረው ለግምገማ የቀረቡት ስርዓተ ትምህርቶቹ ከትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ማዕቀፎች እና በዩኒቨርሲቲያችን ሴኔት ሌጂስሌሽን ጋር ያላቸውን ስምምነት በመቃኘት ፍተሻው ሲጠናቀቅ ከውጭ የባለ ድርሻ አካላት ጋር በጋራ የሚገመገም ይሆናል። ዛሬ የጀመረው መርሃ ግብር ለሁለት ቀናት የሚካሄድ ይሆናል።
በስርዓተ ትምህርት ግምገማ ወርክሾፑ የዩኒቨርሲቲያችን ፕሬዚደንት ዶክተር ፋሪስ ደሊልን ጨምሮ የማኔጅመንት፣ የሴኔት እና የካውንስል አባላት ተሳትፈዋል፡፡

Applied Science Curriculum Validation workshop is underway

Our University is revising the Curriculum of 33 Academic programs in 5 colleges based on the Applied Science University differentiation.
Dr. Faris Delil, the President of our University, delivered a message at the Internal Validation Workshop of the Curriculum Revision started today. According to his message, the Curriculum in Applied Science Category of our University needs to emphasize on skills in combination with practice, market orientation and demand driven approach.
The President also conveyed in message that the Curriculum should explore Inclusive Indigenous Knowledge and it should be conducted with great attention.
Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Habte Dula, expressed his sincere appreciation to individuals involved in the Curriculum revision.
He also stated that the evaluation work should be done carefully and raised ideas by in the process of revision will be addressed properly.
In the forum it was pointed out that the Curriculum should involve Industry and Professional Associations, inclusion of Indigenous Knowledge, result, function and need oriented, increase stakeholder participation, it must include the needs of the Country and market, hold Internships, Co-teaching, Support with Technology, Community Oriented and include important issues.
The forum also emphasized that the implementation of the Curriculum should be linked with National and International recognition.
Starting from the department, the Curriculum will be evaluated together with the external stakeholders when the Validation is completed by surveying their agreement with the framework of the MoE and the senate legislation of our University.
The workshop was attended by the Management, Senate and Council Members including the President of our University, Dr. Faris Delil.
