What does democracy mean to us? How can we defend democracy in everyday life?
In April and June 2022, Democracy Defence Dialogues offered a platform for communities to come together to constructively discuss the means to strengthen democracy.
Dialogues were hosted by a total of 62 organisers, ranging from municipalities to NGOs and from civic activists to business enterprises. Over 500 people participated in the 71 discussions. They were organised across Finland and abroad, both face-to-face and remotely.
Over 500 participants in Finland and in ten other countries took part in Democracy Defence Dialogues this year. Newly published report covers experiences and themes emerging from the discussions.
