🎶🇺🇦 Сьогодні Посол України Михайло Видойник відкрив перший захід "Коли культура стає питанням національної безпеки" із серії мистецьких подій та концертів Культурного десанту Cultural Forces Music у Гельсінкі. Візит представників Культурного десанту до Фінляндії став можливим завдяки співпраці Посольства України у Фінляндії та проєкту Solovey Cultures, заснованого Мікко-Пеккою Ганскі (Mikko-Pekka Hanski), який уже тривалий час знайомить фінську аудиторію з сучасною українською культурою та підтримує українських митців.
Вітаючи учасників заходу, Посол наголосив, що протягом століть Україна змушена була боротися за право зберігати свою мову, культуру та ідентичність. Сьогодні, під час повномасштабної російської агресії, атаки спрямовані не лише проти українських міст і людей, а й проти культурної спадщини, музеїв, бібліотек, театрів та шкіл. «Попри все українська культура продовжує жити. Вона залишається джерелом нашої сили, пам’яті та стійкості. Саме культура допомагає зберігати гідність, єдність та віру в майбутнє навіть у найтемніші часи», — зазначив Посол.
Особливу увагу було приділено тому, що сьогодні Україна захищає не лише свою територію, а й цінності, які об’єднують демократичну Європу: свободу, людську гідність та право кожного народу на власну ідентичність.

🎶🇺🇦 Today, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo Vydoinyk opened the first event "When Culture Becomes a Matter of National Security" in a series of cultural events and concerts by the Cultural Forces in Helsinki.
The visit of the Cultural Forces delegation to Finland was made possible through the cooperation between the Embassy of Ukraine in Finland and Solovey, a project founded by Mikko-Pekka Hanski, who has long been introducing Finnish audiences to contemporary Ukrainian culture and supporting Ukrainian artists.
Welcoming the participants, the Ambassador emphasized that throughout centuries Ukraine has had to fight for the right to preserve its language, culture, and identity. Today, amid Russia’s full-scale aggression, attacks are directed not only against Ukrainian cities and people, but also against cultural heritage, museums, libraries, theatres, and schools.
“Despite everything, Ukrainian culture continues to live. It remains a source of our strength, memory, and resilience. It is culture that helps us preserve dignity, unity, and faith in the future, even in the darkest of times,” the Ambassador noted.
Particular attention was drawn to the fact that today Ukraine is defending not only its territory, but also the values that unite democratic Europe: freedom, human dignity, and every nation’s right to preserve its identity.
