RCCG Turku-Finland - Jesus Centre

RCCG Turku-Finland - Jesus Centre Where Your Expectations Becomes Manifestations, Impacting Society. Calvary greetings in the great and most precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. A.

We are part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Royal Connection Network. We are a Christian International organization who believes in the one true God, the Father, the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Pastor Adekunle Mercy Olubode is the Parish Pastor of the Jesus Centre Parish, Turku Finland. The Redeemed Christian Church of God is a worldwide ministry started in 1952.

We are a Spirit filled assembly multiplied in small and large groups all over the world. As received by the General Overseer (G.O.), Pastor E. Adeboye, and communicated to the Headquarters leaders, our vision and mission statement shall remain intact, with a qualifying addendum in view of the peculiarity of the demography in the European region. They are as follows:

To make heaven. To take as many people with us. To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations. To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle. To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries. We will pursue these objectives until every nation in the world is reached for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Come and celebrate Jesus with us today... There is a package for you from Heaven. 12.00 is the time. God bless you.

Excuses for not doing Evangelism

1. I don’t know enough to tell anyone
Just say what God has done for you. The best evangelical phrases are the one-liners.
For example:
“Once I was blind but now I can see’’. John 9:25
“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” John 4:29
Always remember, evangelism is not supposed to be arguing God’s case for him. It’s simply ‘telling’ what God has done for you.

2. I’m scared
God has gone ahead of you and prepared both you and the
recipient of your message. Always remember that you’re not
alone in God’s business. ‘’…and teaching them to obey all that
I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

3. It’s not my ‘thing’...Evangelism is every Christian’s responsibility. It was Jesus’ instruction to his disciples. We are supposed to do it in season and out of season. This means when we feel like it and when we don’t.

4. I’m very busy
If you’re too busy to do God’s work, then you are busier than God intends you to be. Sharing your testimony of God’s faithfulness should not take too much of your time. Just as it does not take much time to discuss the weather, politics or economic situation.

Aim at PhD
by
Björn Bergvall
Pastor, RCCG Grace Chapel Turku

I’ve seen some more or less humorous redefinitions of PhD, like posthole digger or permanent head damage. These are derogative and not fit to use on someone who has decided to dedicate oneself to work purposefully for a longer duration to achieve one’s ambition.
Contrariwise, the definition “Past Having Doubt” rings better. Hebrews 11:1 says “… faith means putting our full confidence in the things we hope for…”. To get to this point of full confidence our faith has to grow beyond the point of doubt. This isn’t something utopian or unattainable. The King James says in Rom 10:17 that “faith cometh”, no question, it cometh. But “belief you see, can only come from hearing the message”. There is the, and only way, the get the faith to get past doubt.
With this I would like to encourage you to set time apart to go to the Word, either on your own, or with the help of listening to sermons. But, if you are not pleased with where you are, crank up the volume of it and your dedication of it. Work on your PhD, get past having doubt.
