How to guarantee good germination rate and protect seeds from pest and disease with GreenGuard:
GreenGuard can be used to pre-soak seeds, and it's highly effective at boosting germination rates while protecting young seedlings from seed-borne diseases.
But you have to use a very small amount!
1๏ธโฃ Prepare the Solution:
๐
For Small/Sensitive Seeds (Tomatoes, Capsicum, Eggplant, Cucumbers): Mix 2ml (about half a teaspoon) of GreenGuard into 1 Liter of lukewarm water.
๐
For Large/Hard Seeds (Corn, Beans, Okra): Mix 5ml (1 full teaspoon) of GreenGuard into 1 Liter of lukewarm water.
2๏ธโฃ Soak According to Seed Size:
Don't over-soak. Place your seeds in a plate/tray with the solution and follow these timelines:
๐
Small seeds: Soak for only 15 to 30 minutes.
๐
Medium seeds (Cucumbers, Melons): Soak for 1 to 2 hours.
๐
Large, tough seeds (Corn, Beans): Soak for 6 to 12 hours (maximum 24 hours).
3๏ธโฃ Plant Immediately:
๐
Remove the seeds from the liquid, let them air-dry for a few minutes so they don't stick to your fingers, and plant them into your soil or tray immediately. Don't store pre-soaked seeds, as they will rot.
