🏟️ Championship Team Experience Day 🇫🇯

After two exciting days of racing at the School Sport Australia Games, Team Fiji enjoyed a well-earned Champions Experience Day, visiting the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and the Melbourne Sports Museum.

From standing on one of the world’s most famous sporting grounds to exploring the stories, history, and achievements of Australia’s greatest athletes, it was an inspiring experience for our swimmers. It was also a wonderful opportunity to relax, bond as a team, and create lasting memories before returning to competition.

We are especially grateful to School Sport Australia for organising this wonderful experience for all participating teams. Opportunities like these make the Games about so much more than competition—they celebrate friendship, learning, culture, and the true spirit of school sport.

As Team Fiji heads back to the pool tomorrow, we wish our swimmers every success as they continue to represent Fiji with pride. 🇫🇯💙

Day 1 is complete at the School Sport Australia Games, and Team Fiji has made a fantastic start! 🇫🇯🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Our swimmers recorded 63 swims, producing an impressive 25 Personal Bests

As Day 2 gets underway with the 400m Freestyle, we wish all our swimmers the very best. Swim hard, race with pride, and enjoy every moment representing Fiji.

🇫🇷 Marist Family, Let's Get Behind One of Our Own!

Today, we're calling on our Marist family, Old Boys, parents, supporters, and friends to rally behind one of our own, Gerard Niumataiwalu, as he prepares to represent Fiji at the 2026 Australia Schools Swimming Competition at the end of July.

Gerard is a Year 9 student at Marist Brothers' High School, a proud member of the Dolphins Swimming Club, and one of the exciting new generation of Marist athletes excelling across multiple sports. He represented Marist in the Sub-Junior Boys' Discus Throw at the Suva Zone II Athletics Championships and went on to enjoy an outstanding National Schools' Swimming Championships, winning six medals to help Marist Brothers' High School finish 2nd Overall.

To help make this journey possible, Gerard and his family are holding a Trifle Fundraiser to assist with the costs of travelling and competing in Australia.

This is where the Marist spirit comes in.
