भारतीय उच्चायोग, सुवा एवं स्वामी विवेकानंद सांस्कृतिक केंद्र, सुवा द्वारा विभिन्न सहयोगी संस्थाओं के साथ मिलकर हिंदी पखवाड़ा एवं हिंदी दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर विविध कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है।

इन कार्यक्रमों का उद्देश्य हिंदी भाषा एवं साहित्य के प्रचार-प्रसार के साथ-साथ भारत और फिजी के बीच विद्यमान सुदृढ़ सांस्कृतिक एवं जन-जन के संबंधों को और प्रगाढ़ करना है।

🎨🌺 Day 5 of the 5-Day Craft Workshop Series | Bottle Painting Workshop🇮🇳🤝🇫🇯

India in Fiji (High Commission of India, Suva) and ICCR in Suva in collaboration with the The University of Fiji and proudly supported by the Suva Multi Cultural Center, successfully concluded the 5-Day Craft Workshop Series with a vibrant and creative Bottle Painting Workshop.

🖌️ Participants explored the art of Bottle Painting, transforming ordinary bottles into beautiful works of art through colourful designs, intricate patterns, creative textures and artistic techniques. The workshop provided a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills, express creativity and appreciate the beauty of traditional and contemporary Indian-inspired art. 🎨✨

🌺 Over the five days, participants came together to explore different forms of craft and artistic expression, creating a meaningful platform for cultural exchange, community participation and people-to-people connections between India and Fiji. 🇮🇳❤️🇫🇯

The workshop was concluded by High Commissioner Mr. Suneet Mehta. He thanked all the participants and appreciated their enthusiasm, creativity and active participation throughout the 5-Day Craft Workshop Series.

🏅 Certificates were also presented to the participants in recognition of their participation under the initiative, celebrating the enduring friendship, cultural connections and people-to-people ties between India and Fiji.

India in Fiji (High Commission of India, Suva) and ICCR in Suva in collaboration with the Fiji Museum organised a rejuvenating yoga session promoting holistic health, inner peace and overall well-being. The session brought together members of the community to experience the transformative benefits of yoga in a serene and inspiring setting.

🪢🌸 Celebrating the Spirit of Raksha Bandhan | Festival of Love, Joy & Togetherness 🇮🇳🤝🇫🇯

India in Fiji (High Commission of India, Suva) and ICCR in Suva joyfully celebrated Raksha Bandhan, the beautiful festival symbolising the bond of love, care, respect and protection between brothers and sisters. ❤️

The occasion was graced by B.K. Shanta from Brahma Kumaris Centre as the Chief Guest, who shared meaningful reflections on the values and significance of Raksha Bandhan. 🌺

High Commissioner Mr. Suneet Mehta, also addressed the gathering and shared his warm remarks, highlighting the importance of strengthening bonds of friendship, harmony and togetherness through cultural celebrations. 🇮🇳🇫🇯

🎶 The celebrations were further enriched by a mesmerising dance performance by Pandit Avijeet Chakravarty, Teacher-cum-Performer at , adding melody and warmth to the festive occasion. 🎤✨

India in Fiji (High Commission of India, Suva) and ICCR in Suva in collaboration with The University of Fiji and proudly supported by the Suva Multi Cultural Center, successfully conducted Day 4 of the 5-Day Craft Workshop Series with an engaging and colourful Screen Painting Workshop.
🖌️ Participants explored the creative world of screen painting, experimenting with patterns, colours, textures and artistic techniques. The session provided a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills, express creativity and create unique artworks inspired by Indian artistic traditions.

India in Fiji (High Commission of India, Suva) and ICCR in Suva in collaboration with The University of Fiji and proudly supported by Suva Multi Cultural Center,successfully conducted Day 3 of the 5-Day Craft Workshop Series with a vibrant and creative Mix Media Painting Workshop.

Participants explored the exciting world of mixed media art, experimenting with different materials, textures, colours and artistic techniques. The workshop encouraged creativity and self-expression while providing participants with an opportunity to learn, create and appreciate the beauty of artistic traditions. 🖌️🎨✨

🧵🌺 Day 2 of the 5-Day Craft Workshop Series | Weaving Workshop🇮🇳🇫🇯

India in Fiji (High Commission of India, Suva) and ICCR in Suva in collaboration with The University of Fiji and proudly supported by Suva Multi Cultural Center, successfully conducted the second day of the 5-day Craft Workshop Series with an engaging Weaving Workshop.

The workshop provided participants with an opportunity to explore the rich tradition of weaving in Fijian culture. Participants learned about traditional weaving techniques, materials and practices, gaining a deeper appreciation of the cultural heritage and age-old traditions of Fiji. 🇫🇯🧺
