A CALL FOR AN INTERNATIONAL PRAYER
We are at a critical state of no return. The once firm grip that passed our God given land from one generation to the next, which guarded and secured our vanua is rapidly weakening. Our future and the future of those yet to come is uncertain. Efforts to rescue our vanua have been pointless, even though traditional(Vanua), religious(Lotu), and legal(Matanitu) methods have been employed over over the years by our past leaders. We must embrace this truth, and only by the power of Almighty GOD and the influence and establishment of His Kingdom, can we emerge out of this crisis and truly embrace it as a wakeup call for all the iTaukei. If we do not heed the call now, we will live as strangers, slaves and outcasts in our own land. We will be like the Israelites, who were driven constantly from their land flowing with milk and honey. Will we let this crisis overcome us?
Through the inspiration and revelation of the Holy Spirit, an international invitation to pray and intercede for our beloved Fiji (22nd of December 2014 -11th of January 2015) has been called for, with the sole intent of seeking God`s divine intervention over our vanua. The prayer will encompass Fiji as a whole, including all Government ministries, the vanua, its hierarchy with all its provinces and people. Each day of prayer will have a focus. The program is as follows:
