Special thanks also to our 3 local vendors ( RS Roque, T&K, and Updated Store ) who transferred their products to the PPA pier in the afternoon, making it possible for tourists to grab some local goodies - like Pohnpei Pepper from Gingers Pepper Farm!
Big thanks to the taxi companies for accommodating last-minute private tour requests, too!
Kalahngan for helping showcase Pohnpei's beauty and culture!

Late post from yesterday 🌺🌴 Saturday outing with the FSM Tourism ARPA Project Team with an island escape to Lenger Island. Guests enjoyed the beauty of Pohnpei’s crystal waters, relaxing picnic vibes, and an unforgettable snorkeling experience in our tropical paradise.

Did you know? During the Japanese administration, Lenger Island became an important transportation and military support point in Pohnpei, linking the island to regional routes across Micronesia. Remnants of this fascinating past still add to the island’s charm today, where history and paradise meet. 🌊🤿🏝️☀️

Post-workshop unwind with the National Tourism ARPA Project Team—taking our visiting consultants from Portugal up Sokehs Ridge, around Sokehs Island, and through Kolonia. From panoramic views to hidden World War II gun artifacts, it’s all about sharing Pohnpei’s story beyond the workshop.
Historic Preservation Office is doing a great job for mainiting the site !
