Tomorrow is ANZAC Day — a day when Australians and New Zealanders around the world pause to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of our men and women, past and present, in the name of peace and freedom.

Here in Antibes, we’ve been privileged to mark this occasion together for over a decade. Sadly, this year we are unable to continue the ANZAC Day services. With our lives now taking us further afield and no one available locally to take on the organisation and running of the Association, we are formally bringing it to a close.

To all who have stood with us over the years — thank you. It has been a true honour to commemorate ANZAC Day with this community.

Lest we forget.

Heart wrenching history behind this version of the Last Post played on didgeridoo and bugle out of Sydney. Lest we forget.

A moving rendition of The Last Post, recorded on top of the Sydney Opera House, features jazz virtuoso James Morrison and didgeridoo player Mark Atkins, symbolises how Indigenous and non-Indigenous soldiers fought side by side.
