The play is Lizzie Siddal, Beyond the Muse, a theatrical journey into the life of Lizzie Siddal — the Pre-Raphaelite model, artist and poet who became one of the most recognisable faces of Victorian art.

The play is actually the continuation of another production I created, The Ophelia Mystery (Le Mystère Ophélia), which was performed at Avignon's Festival twice (2025/2026) and was warmly received by both audiences and the press. It has received more than 1,400 audience “favourite” ratings, and will be presented in Paris next December and January.

With Lizzie Siddal, I wanted to continue exploring the women who have become iconic figures in art and literature, but whose own voices and stories have too often been overshadowed by the men who represented them.

The performance in Chantilly will be entirely in English ! We are supported by Highgate Cemetery in London
