Swedish company Alfa Laval is helping Mona Lisa keep her cool - even during a Paris heatwave! 😎
But how? Through district cooling. An alternative to individual air-conditioning systems, district cooling uses a central network to supply chilled water to multiple buildings, reducing energy use and environmental impact.
Through its partnership with French company Fraîcheur de Paris, Alfa Laval contributes its technology and expertise to Paris’ vast district cooling network, which serves more than 900 customers across the capital - including the Louvre, Galeries Lafayette, the Philharmonie de Paris and the French National Assembly.
