Last weekend for two extraordinary days, Purnon was once again filled with life as we opened her majestic gates to the world as part of the European Heritage Days.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the château’s reawakening with us and to an incredible team of artisans and volunteers without whom the weekend would have been impossible!

When we arrived at Purnon, her gates were closed. We vowed that we would open these gates and share our adventure with others who share our passion for saving something precious.

Last weekend was the 7th year in a row we opened Purnon’s gates for the weekend of the Journées du Patrimoine, the European Heritage Days.

We’ll share all the action from an incredible weekend with you this Sunday on YouTube but in the meantime here’s a look at what it takes for us to get the château and the domain ready to share with the world!
