🚒 CHARITY CAR WASH – COME ALONG & SUPPORT US 🚒

Join us at Aberbargoed Fire Station on 18th July from 10:00am – 3:00pm for our Charity Car Wash Event.

We’ll be raising money for two incredibly important causes that mean so much to us as a team:
❤️ The Fire Fighters Charity
❤️ A meningitis charity supporting those affected and their families

These are charities very close to our hearts and every donation will help support people facing incredibly difficult circumstances.

Bring your car down, get it cleaned, and help us raise money for causes that truly matter.

🚗💦 WHAT A DAY! 💦🚗

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported our Charity Car Wash in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity ❤️🔥

Because of your amazing support, we managed to raise an incredible £713 👏🎉

A massive shoutout as well to the on-call crew at Aberbargoed for all their hard work and helping make the day such a success 🙌🚒

Safe to say… it wasn’t just car washing 😆 — there were plenty of water fights, lots of laughs, and fun had by everyone! 💧🔫😂

Thank you to everyone who came down, donated, got soaked, and helped support such a brilliant cause.

🌲Another year completed!🌲

This was the third year our On-call crews worked in the community to deliver over 1,250 selection boxes to 10 locations across the station area!

Over the past few years the station has received approximately 4,000 selection boxes and distributed them across our stops!

📟The On-Call crew at Aberbargoed complete these activities voluntarily with the majority of the firefighters arriving on station following days at their primary employment taking time away from their own families in order to ensure that the event goes ahead and as smoothly as possible and share the festivities with the community 📟

Over the new year we will be taking part in a local campaign putting the spotlight on our On-Call crew, the work they do and the benefits of the role.

📟🚒Did you know that the On-Call Duty System is a paid part time role designed to be flexible around primary employment and other commitments , if you live within 5 minutes of Aberbargoed fire station we are currently recruiting for On-Call Firefighters 🚒 📟
