Peep Aberdeen City Our aim is to support parents/carers and children to make the most of everyday The groups are free and run during school term times.

Peep is an evidence-based Learning Together programme which provides an effective way of enabling parents and carers to enhance their children's learning and development from birth. By making the most of everyday learning opportunities, babies and children can become confident communicators and active learners. We run community groups across the city offering activities that support children's learning. Focused support is available to individual families or small groups who may feel unable to access community services via professional or self referral. We also provide training and development opportunities to multi-agency practitioners and volunteers.

We are hosting a number of autumn themed pop-up Peep Sessions across the city libraries:

Mastrick Library
Wednesday 21st October
2:15 - 3:15pm

Torry Library
Thursday 22nd October
10:30 - 11:30am

Bucksburn Library
Friday 23rd October
10:30 - 11:30am

Suitable for children aged 0 - 3. Booking required for all sessions: you can book online via bit.ly/ACLEventsCalendar or by contacting your local library.

That is us finished with the first term's Peep groups. Unfortunately, we have had an issue across groups this term of poor attendance. Just a reminder that although we are a free service, the team works hard to prepare for full groups and we do have a wait list of people who would like to attend Peep. For health and safety reasons, we can only invite so many people to each venue and if we have a full register but only a few people attending, we're in a tricky situation. If you can't regularly attend your group right now, please let us know so we can invite someone who can. We're happy to put you on the waitlist or see you at a pop up session if now is not the right time for you to commit to a weekly group. Thank you

We’re excited to introduce our new Universal TALK Group for children aged 2–4 years!

This is an 8-week TALK group focusing on developing a Talking and Listening Kit for families, giving you practical ideas and activities to support your child’s speech, language and communication development.

It runs like our other Peep groups but with a focus on promoting healthier life choices including routines, food choices, and being more active.
